Service Description

Whether you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, entertain, watch the wildlife or just get your fingers green; I offer a free 1 hour on site garden design consultation in the local area. My aim is to open up your garden for your needs so you spend more time using it, having realised just how import being in nature can be to my own wellbeing, I now want to share that. So if you want a total redesign, a little tweaking, planting plants to enhance what you already have, or just some general advice, then please do get in touch. After the initial consultation I will contact you with a very rough plan with some ideas for layout, plants and features; and how much I will charge. For a very rough guide, for a complete garden design prices start from £1600 for a small sized garden. For those wishing to proceed a site survey may be required, particularly for established sites or those with complex elevation changes. This allows for a more accurate degree of costings in relation to the materials needed to create the design. I am able to provide this for small to medium sized gardens at an additional cost, but for larger ones a specialist surveying company is recommended. From there I will produce a draft concept plan with a mood board giving you a feel of what of your new garden will look like, and discuss this with you. Once the draft concept has been finalised a Masterplan plan will be created showing the detailed layout with measurements and construction materials being utilised. An overview of suggested planting will be provided and drawings will also be produced for any bespoke elements - pergolas, seating areas for example. Some 3D computer modelling may be used to help showcase particular features but will not be used to generate the whole Masterplan.
